I
have been a professional photographer for over 15 years - and I
have enjoyed every minute of it. Photography allows me to share
my vision of the world, to participate in, celebrate, and enjoy
the different places, occasions, and people that I come into contact
with. Whether shooting for a major international corporation, in
an exotic location, or at an event, I always look for the intimate
and fun, for the telling moment and the unrehearsed interaction
that reveal the essence and spirit of what is going on. My pictures
for weddings and special events not only document the course of
the occasion, but capture its emotions - the joys, tears and laughter
of the moment. I specialize in a photojournalistic style, and in
images that are spontaneous, vibrant and both visually and emotionally
compelling.
With
my years of experience in the world of professional photography,
I have the skills and resources necessary to capture each event
successfully. I enjoy every event I shoot, and I believe that informs
the images I make. My approach is personal and friendly - I work
one-on-one with my clients to make sure all their needs and questions
are met. At the event, I create a fun, approachable, but always
professional atmosphere. I take pride in delivering images and service
of the highest possible quality. My goal is to provide the client
with 1) personalized, friendly, and hands-on service, 2) a wide
selection of images of the highest aesthetic quality, and 3) photographs
that will endure as treasured memories of the ambiance, emotions,
and moments of each unique wedding.
My
love of photography stems from the way it can capture, and give
meaning to, our experience of the world. The framing of life, experience,
and emotion in the visual medium remains central to all of my work.
In addition to professional shooting for a wide variety of commercial,
corporate, and institutional clients, I have taught photography
at the college level, produced fine-art imagery, and designed award-winning
graphic pieces.
